food
shortly after we moved in to our apartment our friends and neighbors gave us the name "food house." this name was not created because of our healthy eating habits though; we always have brownies, muffins, cookies, or some sort of yummy snack to share with whoever comes to visit our little home. while we are certainly proud of this and are glad that people like our snacks, healthy eating habits are important at college when the last thing you want to worry about is getting sick. now that the school year has begun all of us have been getting less sleep and increasingly more homework, so while we still have plenty of my roommates famous cookie-brownies to share with visitors, we have also been paying more attention to taking care of our bodies. having a healthy and happy family is something i am glad we have established and i very much hope we are able to keep it up with our midterms rapidly approaching.

Thanks for the link to the healthy eating habits! This is the first time I've really had to cook for myself, and I honestly feel like I have no time to eat and less time to cook. Having short, accessible tips like these come in handy! Definitely a good tip about bringing a water bottle to class to remind yourself to drink water...I forget otherwise!
